People stuck on this guy are getting far too hung up on builds. In my case I would stay as close to him as possible while dodging everything then QB into his face and blast him staggering him near instantly, then hitting him again and kicking him or using an assault armor blast. With this boss, never fire unless you know you are going to hit, use movement to dodge his attacks and at the end of every single attack there is a pause window where you are meant to hit him. Especially firing the heavier weapons, like the Mid-tier songbirds that leave you standing there or floating there not moving for 2 seconds after firing which is a great way to have a boss remove half your Ap bar instantly. Everytime you get slammed by some big attack, think about why you were hit, what could you have done different to not get hit.was it perhaps you should have dodged the opposite way instead of the same direction twice in a row? Maybe you used too much energy because you're panicking? Maybe you are attacking when you should not be, which puts you in recovery frames depending on the weapon you're using. In 2nd phase I was hit once by his comet rushing attack whatever that's called because I used QB too early.ĭon't focus so much on what gear you need to win, focus on your actual piloting skills instead. I actually got to 2nd phase without taking a single hit. I stay on the ground the entire time, never moving up except for on 2 specific attacks that make dodging easy via flight and boosting to the right. Nothing but the 2 zimmers, and I removed 50% of his HP in phase1, 7 seconds into the fight. I beat him using light biped AC with only 8k AP, duo shotguns, but 0 back weapons. It's about knowing his move set and figuring out how to dodge each one. Ibis is pretty simple in the fact that the key to winning isn't designing some anti-Ibis build. Build has very little to do with beating IBIS.
